About Mint Salary
With salary discussion amongst colleagues still considered taboo, Mint Salary's vision is to reduce that stigma by providing salary data from various occupations and locations across the United States.
What makes Mint Salary stand out from the likes of Glassdoor and other salary comparison websites is that Mint Salary gets its data from W-2 forms submitted through TurboTax (consent is given by customers).
Value Proposition Revamp
Working alongside market research, I revamped the value propositions and reasons to believe (RTBs) currently on the site.
I created 10 different variations and tested them with 10 different customers. The winners are a mixture of what was already on the site (though slightly changed) and new features (such as the newly added map view option).

Headline and Subheader Change

In the middle of designing the page, I came up with a last-minute change to the major headline and subheader. It conveyed a nurturing tone that understood how hard our customers worked and that they deserved a higher paycheck.
Mint Blog Section

The team thought it would be interesting to add a section that linked to Mint's blog, a space that is already under discovered. I found three articles that were relevant to salary information and could be beneficial for customers. To reduce bounce rates, I suggested we update the articles to include links to the Mint Salary homepage so customers could find their way back.
